One thing we at DWL are hearing more and more from British homeowners is that they are constantly on the lookout for new and innovative ways to help better let light in their home, ideally without the risk of reducing their property’s energy efficiency or insulation capabilities. That’s why that it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that aluminium bifold doors are fast becoming the homeowner designer’s product of choice, when combined with a Schuco aluminium conservatory they’re a great way to enhance both light and space easily, as one local property soon discovered.
Being based not too far away from our own head office in Sittingbourne, we were more than happy to help the homeowners on their home improvement journey, discussing what they wished to achieve with a new set of Schuco ASS70FD bifold doors and a grey conservatory, debating how these enhancements could best improve their lifestyle.
Already the stunning home successfully projected a sense of modernity prior to the arrival of our team, boasting generously large apertures against a brickwork aesthetic, so the decision was quickly made for us to install the new Schuco aluminium conservatory“>Schuco aluminium conservatory complete with an Ultraframe LivinROOF for additional comfort and homeliness.
Thankfully our in-house team of installers have more than enough experience working on large scale projects such as this one, regularly working in the commercial sector as well as with domestic and residential homes. The homeowners wished each product to be coloured to RAL7016, a dark Grey shade which was successfully powder coated onto the flexible aluminium to guarantee a distinctive home for decades to come. The surrounding Schuco ASS70FD bifolds were particularly striking both within the conservatory and the home, spoiling it with light through with their multi-panel configurations.
Although not an adventurous RAL colour, the boldness of the simple Grey successfully offset against the orange brickwork of the property ensured that the home was just as beautiful to look at from the outside as well as in. It’s safe to say that the homeowners were left very happy with both the quality of the service and products they had received from our team.
It was instantly clear upon seeing the finished result that the choice to go with aluminium for both the Schuco conservatory and bifolds was an inspired one, having the naturally high strength-to-weight ratio that made such expansive outside views easily possible. Another job well done!
