A longstanding and loyal customer of ours builds many luxury homes like this across the South East. We supply and install the vast majority of their windows and doors. Whether it be uPVC, uPVC woodgrain foiled, timber effect, sliding sash or aluminium windows and doors; we are their go to glazing firm.
This unique plot set within beautiful and plentiful grounds came to us at planning stage in the form of a pile of architects drawings. As usual, we carefully went through all of them and our estimator David got everything quoted up. The specification requested timber heritage sash windows in a sliding design. These are sometimes referred to as sliding sash windows or vertical sliding windows. Despite being a new build property and having a very modern and airy interior design, the exterior of the property had to look traditional and heritage. Therefore, our hardwood timber heritage sash windows were the perfect fit.
Moreover, this project had to have windows and doors made from timber because the plot of land is situated within a heritage conservation area where timber windows and doors tend to be what planning officers prefer for the obvious traditional reasons. Fortunately, nowadays heritage windows such as Smart Heritage 47 aluminium, Residence 9 and our heritage sash windows come with all the modern thermal and security trimmings, making them just as warm and secure as any modern product on the market.
After having quoted everything, our customer confirmed that the end client was happy with everything, and they wanted to visit our showroom to see the products in person. This was duly arranged and one of our showroom team met the end clients and went through everything in detail. They were impressed with our showroom and confidently gave the nod to our customer.
Everything was ordered up and around 6 weeks later, our fitting team arrived on site to install everything over a week. The photo speaks for itself as to the grandeur and well thought out design of the property.
