After having recently moved to the coast from central London, the couple had only recently moved into the property so things were still very fresh. When at this stage, we find that our customers mostly need ideas and inspiration. They also appreciate being informed as to what products are on the market and rough prices. They are at no stage to place an order. This suits our no pressure sales mantra to a tee as we never give prices when with our customers in the home. We prefer to post or email through a quote a couple of days later, which our customers much prefer, especially after some of the bigger companies have sent round pushy salesmen with silly “special offers” etc. Our video below, explains our sales process in more detail.
The couple then found us online and asked us to send someone to the property with a couple of samples. They initially expressed an interest in our timber look windows, specifically Residence 9. But they also were interested in a more modern look. So over the phone, we suggested that we take along a modern grey window sample too, which we did.
We spent a long time with the couple talking through the features and benefits of both options including colour options, handle options and rough price differences without overwhelming them too much!
We sent through the various quote options the customers had asked for and after around a month of questions and queries, the order was placed and handed over to our surveyor.
