Our bifolding Schuco dark grey doors totally transformed this south London home.

It’s great to see our products used to so effectively transform our customers’ homes. This project shows this transformative power in all its glory. We knocked out some brickwork and added our Schuco ASS70 FD bifold dark grey doors to great effect.

These customers, like many others, arrived with us through Schuco’s website, where they requested to be put in contact with a local Schuco fabricator and installer. Them being in South East London, we were put forward and one of our chaps went out to site to measure the aperture and find out what the customer was after. As can be seen in the before photo in the gallery below, the existing timber doors were looking dated and were a far cry from the look the customers were after that our dark grey doors would create.

During the site visit, one thing quickly became apparent, which was that some brickwork under the flag windows would need to be removed to accommodate the proposed bifolds. We duly quoted for this extra work and the making good and re-plastering that this would entail.

The couple were after the bifolds in a 3 pane configuration, which allows you to have one independently openable “traffic door”, for easy and quick entrance and exit.

We duly emailed through our quotation for the supply and installation of the dark grey doors (Schuco ASS70 FD aluminium bifold doors) and extra work. The quote was fairly quickly accepted as the customers were keen to get things moving on the refurbishment project they had taken on.

After the paperwork and deposit had been sorted, our surveyor then visited site to take final measurements. From that point, it was around 6 weeks later that the doors had been made and we installed everything and all extra works over the space of two days.

The customer was very happy with the end result as were we. The photos below show just how effective the transformation is.
