uPVC grey windows and black composite door installed in Kent.

This commercial customer wanted something a bit special for this grand new build home in Kent. Our grey windows worked perfectly with the uniquely coloured Kent tiles that were to be used.

Clarendon Homes build beautiful homes across the South East of England. These range from 2 bedroom terrace developments all the way up to luxurious multi million pound detached properties with cinemas and games rooms.

As with some of our other long standing commercial customers, we are their go to glazing company. It is no longer a case of us needing to win work. We quote everything fairly and always receive the order. So, we are often very involved in the design process of the properties. This is essential as the windows and doors are an important and prominent part of any property, aesthetically speaking. So, we work very closely alongside Clarendon’s management and architects to make sure we take the right route in design terms.

On this project, they were clear right from the start that they wanted a foiled woodgrain uPVC finish. The question was, which colour exactly. As is clear from the photos, they were planning on using quite a colourful tile design and so needed a colour that work with it.

After a visit to our doors’ showroom doors showroom” our Kent showroom, where we have all of the foiled colour options on show. The toss up was between the ever popular RAL 7016 anthracite grey and the slightly lighter RAL 7015 slate grey. After holding the foiled profile sample up against the proposed tile for some time, they went for the RAL 7015 option. Our RAL colour chart can be downloaded here.

Everything was ordered, surveyed and installed in around 3 weeks from ordering. We’re thrilled with the end result and after installing these grey windows and black composite doors, the end homeowner contracted us directly to install a modern orangery, uPVC windows, aluminium windows and aluminium bi-folding doors. All grey. Sutton Valence, Kent.” which can be read about in this case study.
